Shift Patterns Day Shift Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45 Friday: 07:00 – 13:00 Total: 39 hours per week Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday: 14:30 – 23:30 Friday: 12:45 – 17:30 Total: 39 hours per week Role Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC turning (lathe) machines to produce precision-engineered components in line with aerospace specifications. Work with FANUC CNC programs, including canned cycles. Read and interpret both final and stage engineering drawings. Upload programs and set tooling, chucks, collets, and fixtures. Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment to ensure they meet required standards. Record measurements throughout the manufacturing process. Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as required. Experience & Skills A recognised engineering apprenticeship is preferred.
