CNC Turner - Setter/Operator

Working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, our client is seeking an experience CNC Turner - Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.

*- Setting tooling, work offsets and machine parameters.

*- Loading and adjusting programmes as required.

*- Running production machines, monitoring output and maintaining quality.

*- Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment and working to engineering drawings.

*- Identifying and resolving machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality.

Person Requirements:

*- Previous experience setting CNC turning machines.

*- Experience with Fanuc controls.

*- Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

*- Sliding head experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

Salary-level is based on the experience that the person has and if they have covered all the tasks previously.
