The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex, high-precision components. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency in manufacturing.Salary: 34,632k Per annum / 18.00 per hourPAYE, Paid weekly, Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out applyRising to: 18.50 per hour / Approx 35.500 after 12 weeks Working hours Monday - Thursday 08:00 to 17:1537 hours Friday optional Overtime Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC Turning Machines to manufacture precision components.Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation.Optimize machining processes, cutting strategies, and tooling selection for efficiency and accuracy.Conduct first-off inspections, in-process checks, and final quality control using precision measurement tools (CMM, micrometers, gauges, etc.).Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs, tooling, or set-ups as required.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times.Maintain machines, tooling, and equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.Adhere to company safety ..... full job details .....
