This is a hands-on role working on precision components across a range of sectors, involving machine setting, operation, and occasional programming for both one-off and batch production.CNC Turner Setter Operator Responsibilities:Set and operate CNC turning machines, primarily Mazak equipmentModify and edit CNC programsOperate and manage Fanuc/Mazatrol control systemsRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsPrepare materials, tooling, and machine setups for upcoming jobsConduct in-process inspection using precision measuring instrumentsIdentify and resolve issues during machining processesCNC Turner Setter Operator Experience:Ideally time-served apprentice or around 5 years'' experience in a similar roleProven experience setting and operating CNC turning machinery (Mazak preferred)Working knowledge of Fanuc controlsStrong understanding of machining processes and materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings with high accuracyCompetent using quality measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesFor more information on the CNC Turner Setter Operator position, contact Ewan Smyth at Stirling Warrington. ..... full job details .....
