Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turning Setter Operator to join their production team. The RoleYou will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture high precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.Set and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision componentsWork with FANUC CNC programs including canned cyclesRead and interpret final and stage engineering drawingsUpload programs into machines and set tools, chucks, collets and fixturesInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipmentRecord dimensions against drawing requirements during the manufacturing processCarry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting About YouExperience setting and operating CNC turning machinesFamiliar with FANUC controls and canned cyclesAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic maths skills for machining calculationsA recognised engineering apprenticeship would ..... full job details .....
