CNC Turner Setter / Operator

The Role We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator to join the production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components in accordance with customer drawings and specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a stable, long-established engineering business offering varied work, overtime opportunities and ongoing development. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC lathes in accordance with engineering drawings and route cards. Load, prove out and run CNC programmes. Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures and work-holding equipment. Produce first-off components for inspection and approval. Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances. Maintain dimensional accuracy throughout production runs.
