Main Responsibilities Working safely at all times CNC Turning, working on a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium and various plastics, producing high quality work to tight tolerances in a commercial time Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Programming and operating Mazak machine Checking/inspecting own work Keeping area clean and tidy and carrying out maintenance routines on equipment Working on own initiative with minimal supervision Personal Qualities Enthusiasm for engineering and a determination to learn Self-starter and motivated person with good time keeping Ability to get on with colleagues and receive instructions Commitment to upholding high health and safety standards Responsibility, reliability and dedication Self-disciplined and conscientious approach Great attention to detail Hard working and ambitious Excellent communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and a strong drive to succeed Experience Required Must be time served Experience of manual and CNC Turning Mazak experience is preferred Ability to programme Benefits 39 hour working week dayshift Monday to Friday utilising Flexitime 34 days holiday per year (Additional bonus days at Directors discretion, World Cup/Christmas) Pension and Life Assurance (4x annual salary) Long service bonus/additional holidays Pay review annually Twice yearly bonus (Depending on company performance) ..... full job details .....
