      <description>Location: Accrington | Salary: 10000-500000 Hourly | Type: Permanent | Skilled CNC Turner Location: Accrington, LancashireSalary: £16.50 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 6:55am - 4:55pm The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Turner to join a busy and established precision engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning machinery to manufacture high-quality components to customer specifications. This role would suit an experienced machinist who is confident working from engineering drawings, maintaining tight tolerances, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop. Key Responsibilities  Program, set and operate CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls. Follow tooling sheets and offline programming instructions. Download, manage and save CNC programs following successful inspection of machined parts. Operate manual machining equipment when required. Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Change tooling and adjust offsets to maintain tolerances and drawing requirements.
