CNC Turner ProgrammerRotherham Permanent position 18- 19 per hourShillito Group are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a well established precision engineering business in Rotherham.This is a hands on programming and setting role for someone who is comfortable taking a component from drawing through to finished part.You will be working on modern CNC turning equipment, producing high precision components and taking responsibility for programming, tooling, setting, inspection and process improvement.The roleProgramming, setting and operating CNC turning machineryProducing precision components from engineering drawingsCreating, editing and improving CNC programsSetting tooling and preparing machines for productionAdjusting speeds, feeds, offsets and machine parametersCompleting first off checks and in-process inspectionWorking with driven tooling and multi-axis machiningIdentifying and resolving machining issuesImproving cycle times, tool life and production efficiencyRunning more than one machine where requiredCompleting quality and traceability documentationSupporting wider continuous improvement activityThe experience neededYou will need previous experience programming and setting CNC lathes or turning centres.This is not an operator only position, so you should be comfortable editing or writing programs, setting tools and offsets, proving out jobs and inspecting your own work.Experience with any of the following would be useful:Multi-axis CNC ..... full job details .....
