Working within a skilled machining team, you''ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres, producing precision aerospace components to demanding quality standards. The Successful CNC Turner Programmer, Setter, Operator Package £17.00 £18.00 per hour Permanent position Monday Thursday: 8:00am 5:00pm and Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm Early finish every Friday Company pension Free on-site parking Long-term career opportunity Modern precision engineering environment The Successful CNC Turner Programmer, Setter, Operator Role Program, set and operate CNC Turning Centres using Fanuc controls Produce precision-machined aerospace components to engineering drawings Interpret complex engineering drawings, GDandT and tight tolerances Select appropriate tooling, inserts and cutting parameters Machine components to exact customer specifications Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using manual measuring equipment Monitor tooling, offsets and cycle times to maximise productivity Identify and resolve machining issues and non-conformances Work in accordance with AS9100 ..... full job details .....
