CNC Turner Programmer

We are recruiting for a prismatic machining & mechanical assembly business for the Civil & Military Aerospace Industry. Who specialise in high speed 5 axis soft & hard metal plus composite machining up to 3 metres in length. We are looking for a full time permanent CNC Turner.

Key skills required from the CNC Turner:

• Must have hands on working experience as a CNC Turner min 3-years
• Ability to Set and Operate minimum of 3-years
• Must have the ability to understand the code of the programs in case you need to go in and when loading new tools
• Ability to progam from techncial drawings a major benefit
• Experience with Mazatrol or Fanuc is required
• Ability to read technical drawings
• A background in Aerospace would be a distinct advantage
• Ensure machines set in timely fashion and that dimensions and surface finishes are as required.
• Ability to check own work in conjunction with inspection department
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to H&S regulations and procedures ensuring safe environment for yourself and colleagues
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and highlighting any issues found.

The successful CNC Turner-will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary, free onsite parking and other benefits TBC by the client.

Working hours:

7.30am to 5.30pm- Monday to Thursday - 4 day working week-
