CNC Turner Programmer

Our client is a small engineering firm who are looking to recruit a miller to join the team. Time served qualifications Experience of CNC lathes programming, setting and operating on multi axis/spindle machines Good understanding and experience of machine setups with vice and machine clamping Good understanding of levelling and clocking of multiple operations. One off and shorts runs working more than one machine. A high proven knowledge of detail work and to produce quality product Primary functions being:- Producing individual items to technical drawings and instructions Preparing own material (saw cutting) Setting and operation of multiple machines Inspecting ones own work with traditional measuring techniques (micrometres, bore gaues, slip gauges) as well as spindle mounted Renishaw probe. 40 hours a week on normal day shift.
