The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders. Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and other relevant equipment. Program machines or adjust existing programmes to achieve the required tolerances. Conduct quality checks on finished components using measuring instruments. Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to the supervisor. Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Work closely with other workshop staff to meet production schedules.
