CNC Turner - Permanent Nights

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist with strong CNC turning, setting and operating experience, looking for a long-term position with an established manufacturer. Salary: £44,000 per annumShift: Permanent Nights - Sunday to Thursday Location: Rotherham The Role As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality, precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Setting and operating CNC lathes Producing precision components to engineering drawings Selecting and changing cutting tools and tooling Setting machine offsets and making adjustments where required Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines Identifying and resolving basic machining issues Ensuring components meet required quality standards Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment The Candidate The successful CNC Turner will ideally have: Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Strong CNC turning setting and operating experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight engineering tolerances Good knowledge of ..... full job details .....
