You''ll join an empowered team in Yeovil, working to demanding aerospace specifications and delivery targets, while continuously improving how things are done. What you''ll be doing: Centre lathe turning from start to finish, producing parts to aerospace specifications Setting and running bespoke work on 2-axis lathes Interpreting engineering drawings and following manufacturing instructions, process layouts, and documentation procedures Carrying out Operator Control of Quality (OCQ), including verifying assemblies meet Honeywell and customer standards Working effectively in a lean environment to support on-time delivery Following safety-critical processes and maintaining a strong Health and Safety focus at all times Supporting continuous improvement within the team What you''ll bring: Strong CNC turning experience (Mazatrol experience is preferable; Mazak experience is also preferred, but not essential) A solid background in CNC or manual turning, ideally within a machining/engineering environment Competence with hand measuring equipment such as vernier, micrometer, thread gauges, and plug gauges Ability to read and work to engineering drawings and manufacturing ..... full job details .....
