Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established machine workshop in Ayrshire-in their search for a CNC Miller.- This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Prestwick.- Working across a 2-shift pattern (early and back shift) with optional overtime available at enhanced rates.- Making vital components for the Aerospace industry.

What''s required?

• Time served CNC Machinist or vast expereince working as machinist
• Ability to read and interpret technical-engineer drawings
• Operating, setting and programming
• Working to tight tolerances
• Low to medium batch work
• Proficient with FANUC or Mazak-controls beneficial (training provided)
• Experience working with Aerospace components advantageous
• Working early and back shift
• Subcontract machine shop expereince beneficial
• Self-inspection of parts produced, resolving non-conformance issues
• Working towards-continuous improvement methods within the workshop
• Doosan lathe expereince benficial
