      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: &amp;pound;30/hour | Type: Contract | Role:                                CNC Turner - Setter/Operator    Location:                      Bristol     Salary:                            Negotiable    Term:                               6 months (extension or permanent available)      Working hours:                6am - 2pm/2pm - 10pm (early finish on Fridays)   A leading precision engineering and advanced manufacturing business is looking for an experienced  CNC Turner - Setter/Operator  to join its manufacturing team in Bristol.  You will set and operate  Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines , producing high-precision components to engineering drawings, specifications and tight tolerances.   Key Responsibilities    Set and operate CNC turning machines.  Set tooling, workholding, soft jaws, datums and offsets.  Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&amp;T.  Inspect components using micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and plug gauges.  Optimise speeds, feeds and cycle times.  Troubleshoot tooling, programme and machine issues.
