Salary: £15.36 per hour

Contract: Permanent | Full-time

Location: Liverpool

Shifts: Days (Mon-Thurs  8:00-16:30 Friday 7:00-12:30)

The role

You''ll be setting and operating CNC lathes - producing quality components to drawing. You''ll be trusted to modify programmes, manage tool changes and offsets, and take ownership of your own quality checks. It''s hands-on, varied work in a facility that invests in doing things properly.

What you''ll be doing

• Set and operate CNC lathes across a range of materials and tolerances
• Modify programmes and carry out tool changes and offsets
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards
• Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
• Contribute to TPM, 6S, SMED and lean activities on the shop floor
• Maintain accurate production records, labels, and logs
• Highlight improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with the team

What you''ll bring

Essential:

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working in a production or quality-focused manufacturing environment
• Comfortable carrying out tool changes, offsets, and first-off checks

• Hourly rate of £15.36
• All overtime paid at 1.5x rate
