Shift: Days - Opportunity for a skilled CNC Turner to join this rapidly expanding sub contract precision engineering company that produces complex aerospace components. You should be open to future training and development as the company expands.Key responsibilities:Set, operate and prove-out CNC turning jobs on a Colchester CNC lathe with Fanuc controlsEdit programs at the machine (Fanuc), set tooling, offsets, workholding and cutting parametersProduce complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances, working from engineering drawings and specifications (GDandT)Inspect components using micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, DTI; CMM exposure beneficialMaintain quality documentation and follow inspection procedures (AS9100/ISO 9001 beneficial)Troubleshoot machining issues (tool wear, chatter, finish, dimensional variation) to minimise scrap/downtimeWork to HandS requirements and high housekeeping standardsWhat we''re looking for:Proven CNC turning experience as a Setter/Operator (aerospace/precision engineering preferred)Confident with Fanuc controls (editing, offsets, tool comp, basic fault finding)Ex...
