Join a quality-focused machining team where consistency, standards and good workmanship are genuinely valued.About the roleIn this hands-on production position, you''ll set and operate FANUC-controlled Nakamura CNC lathes, producing repeat components to tight tolerances. You''ll also support continuous improvement-especially on new or developing jobs where the best method, tooling and paperwork need to be established and embedded.Key responsibilitiesSet and operate CNC turning machines to specification and agreed work instructionsMeasure and inspect parts to confirm conformance prior to first-off submissionProduce first-off batches for First Article approvalSupport first production parts through FAIR and/or PPAP requirementsHelp build stable, repeatable production (methods, tooling and supporting documentation)Suggest CI ideas and help implement approved improvements to quality, efficiency and consistencyCommunicate clearly with colleagues and relevant departments to maintain flow and standardsMaintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices at all timesSupport additional shop-floor tasks where your skills are requiredWhat we''re looking forRequired:Proven CNC turning experience at setter/operator levelStrong quality mindset and ability to follow specifications and instructionsAble to work to realistic deadlines ..... full job details .....
