About the role In this hands-on production position, you''ll set and operate FANUC-controlled Nakamura CNC lathes, producing repeat components to tight tolerances. You''ll also support continuous improvement-especially on new or developing jobs where the best method, tooling and paperwork need to be established and embedded. Key responsibilities  Set and operate CNC turning machines to specification and agreed work instructions Measure and inspect parts to confirm conformance prior to first-off submission Produce first-off batches for First Article approval Support first production parts through FAIR and/or PPAP requirements Help build stable, repeatable production (methods, tooling and supporting documentation) Suggest CI ideas and help implement approved improvements to quality, efficiency and consistency Communicate clearly with colleagues and relevant departments to maintain flow and standards Maintain excellent houseke...</description>
