The successful candidate will be capable of programming at the machine using FANUC and Siemens controls, as well as setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality components from engineering drawings and to tight tolerances.The role involves a varied workload, ranging from 1-Off and small-batch production through to larger batch runs of up to 500-Offs.Responsibilities:Set, operate and program CNC Lathes to produce precision components as per engineering specifications.Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to determine machining operations and set up requirements.Utilise measuring equipment like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined components.Inspect finished components to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper maintenance and servicing of machines.Collaborate with team members to optimise ..... full job details .....
