CNC Turner

Joloda Hydraroll is growing fast and we’re hiring a CNC Turner to support increased customer demand. This is a permanent day-shift role, paying up to £36,000 with paid overtime, a strong benefits package, and a culture that values your expertise and growth.

About the Role: As a CNC Turner, you’ll join a global logistics supplier trusted by Coca-Cola, DHL and Unilever. You’ll work in a clean, well-equipped Speke-based facility alongside skilled engineers, where your ideas and craft are truly valued – not just your output.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines (lathe)
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Inspecting components using standard measurement equipment to ISO 9001 standards
• Solving problems proactively and suggesting process improvements
• Collaborating with engineers and team leads who lead from the front, not behind glass

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in CNC turning, ideally with confidence setting machines from scratch
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject (essential)
• Familiarity with Haas and/or Citizen controls (desirable)
• A detail-oriented, hands-on engineer who takes pride in quality work and enjoys being part of a team
