All Square Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected precision engineering firm in Woodbridge, specialising in complex, high-quality component manufacturing for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. We are seeking a dedicated and autonomous CNC Turner with expertise in Fanuc programming to join their focused and stable team. This is a permanent opportunity for an engineer who takes pride in holding exceptionally tight tolerances.
CNC Turner - Responsibilities
- Independently program (from scratch and edit) and set multi-axis CNC Lathes utilizing Fanuc controls to produce complex, high-precision components.

Select appropriate tooling, adjust speeds/feeds, and implement program adjustments to maximize material removal rates and efficiency while safeguarding quality.

Interpret detailed engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, CMM reports) to self-inspect finished components against critical tolerances.

Diagnose and resolve complex machining issues, tooling wear problems, and program errors with minimal supervision.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping to ensure machine reliability and maintain a safe, professional workspace.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3+ years proven experience as a CNC Turner/Lathe Programmer and Setter.

Demonstrable expertise in Fanuc programming (G-Code and conversational) with the ability to program components directly on the machine.

Extensive experience working with tight tolerances (e.g., +/- 0.010mm) in a busy precision engineering or toolmaking environment.

Solid understanding of metallurgy and the machining properties of various materials (e.g., stainless steel, alloys).

Exceptional ability to interpret complex technical and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) drawings.
Working Hours & Salary
Full-time, permanent position (Monday to Friday)
Competitive salary based on experience - -17 to -18 per hour
