CNC Turner

Due to a large increase in workload, we are currently recruiting a number of CNC Turners to join our prestigious client near Oldham on a permanent basis. 

The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of valve equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation.

Successful candidates will be time-served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings, specifications and required quality standards.

Candidates will be required to Programme, Set and Operate a number of different CNC lathes using Fanuc controls to produce components from a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Mild Steel, Brass and other exotics. 

3 Shifts  – 6-2/ 2-10 /10-6

Job Description :

• Programme / Edit, set and Operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls machining both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances
• Aid where required in the fitting department
• Overhead crane operating experience

Candidate Required Skills

• Time-served with demonstrable experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes working to very tight tolerances.
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
• Experienced Programming, Setting and Operating using Fanuc / Heidenhain controls
• Must have experience working on a range of materials including 316 Stainless, Inconel, Brass and other exotic materials
