The Role: As a CNC Turner, the successful candidate will be integral to manufacturing high-precision components from a variety of metal materials. With a focus on quality and efficiency, this role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, as well as interpreting engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities: Programme, set, and operate CNC turning machines. Manufacture components based on engineering drawings and technical specifications. Produce precision machined metal parts to tight tolerances. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters. Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. Edit and optimise CNC programmes for improved quality and efficiency. Identify and resolve programming and machining issues. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in all work.
