Location: Nelson, Lancashire Job Type: Full-time (39 hours per week) or Part-time considered Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and experience Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Nelson, Lancashire, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter/Operator (Turning) to support their busy production team. We''re seeking a reliable and motivated individual with strong production machining experience who can confidently set and operate CNC turning machinery. Time-served apprentices are encouraged to apply, although candidates with proven industry experience will also be considered. The Role Working within a busy production environment, you''ll be responsible for producing high-quality precision turned components while maintaining efficiency, accuracy and excellent quality standards. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC turning machines for production work. Making program adjustments and offset changes where required. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Producing components to specification and quality standards. Carrying out routine machine checks. Working safely and contributing to production targets. The Ideal Candidate You''ll have: Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines within a production environment. The ability to adjust programs and offsets.
