You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes, ensuring best-in-class machining techniques while contributing to continuous improvement across the machine shop.This role is ideal for someone confident working with 3-axis CNC lathes and familiar with Mazak and Fanuc control systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC lathesFollow set-up sheets and manufacturing procedures accuratelyInterpret technical drawings and geometric tolerancesMaintain high quality and safety standardsWork both independently and as part of a teamEnsure work meets job card instructions, customer specs, and quality requirementsSupport continuous improvement and general workshop duties About YouEssential:A minimum of 3 years'' experience working with large components in high precision manufacturing environmentA minimum of 3 years'' experience of operating Mazak controlExperience of working to engineering drawings or work instructions i.e. Job CardsWide ranging manufacturing process knowledge, across differing materials in varying applicationsKnowledge of how to machine, handle and protect all types of ..... full job details .....
