Job Description: CNC Tool Cutter Grinder / CNC Machinist Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Tool Cutter Grinder / CNC Machinist on behalf of our client based in Braintree, Essex, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and programming multi-axis CNC grinding machines, manufacturing and regrinding a range of precision cutting tools. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established precision engineering business offering ongoing training and development. Roles and Responsibilities: Programming, editing and optimising CNC machine paths using manufacturer software such as ANCA, iGrind or similar. Setting, calibrating and operating CNC tool and cutter grinding machines. Manufacturing and regrinding drills, end mills, reamers, form tools and bespoke cutting tools. Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and tooling specifications. Carrying out in-process quality inspections using micrometers, verniers and optical measuring systems. Ensuring finished components meet the required levels of accuracy and quality. Carrying out routine CNC machine maintenance and wheel dressing. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. Working closely with the wider engineering and production team to meet production requirements.
