CNC Team Leader | Ferndown | £20.50 per hour

Are you an experienced CNC Turner ready to step into a leadership role? This is a permanent opportunity to lead a small, skilled team while staying hands-on with modern CNC machinery, with flexible shift patterns and a choice of four or five day working weeks.

As a CNC Team Leader, you will benefit from:

As a CNC Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a small team of CNC Turners, allocating workloads to meet production targets
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances
• Monitoring team output and quality, stepping in to resolve issues as they arise
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical plans
• Inspecting components using micrometres, verniers, and other precision measuring tools

As a CNC Team Leader, your experience will include:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, either as a Setter Operator or Programmer
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or supervising a small team, or ready to step up into a leadership role
• Confident working with Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Skilled in using micrometres, verniers, and other measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
