CNC SupervisorRotherhamPermanentShillito Group are recruiting for their client for a CNC Supervisor to join an established manufacturing business in Rotherham.This is a hands-on role for someone who knows CNC machining, understands programming and can lead a team without disappearing into an office all day.You''ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the machine shop, making sure jobs are ready to go, helping solve technical problems and keeping production moving.You''ll also get involved with programming, tooling, workholding and improving how jobs are manufactured.Salary and Working Hours 42,000Monday to Friday8am to 4pmPermanent positionThe roleSupervising CNC and manual machinistsMaking sure the team is prepared for upcoming jobsWriting, editing and simulating Fanuc or XYZ programmes Supporting prove outs for new jobs and processesImproving machining and manufacturing methodsDeveloping tooling and workholding solutionsReviewing CAD models and manufacturing informationProducing tooling sheets, SOPs and inspection documentationProviding technical support to the machining teamWorking closely with production and designHelping improve efficiency, standards and organisation across the departmentWhat we''re looking forYou''ll need a strong machining background and ideally experience across CNC milling, turning or toolroom environments.Fanuc and/or XYZ experience would be particularly useful.We''re also looking for:CAD/CAM knowledgeMilling and turning experienceTeam Leader, ..... full job details .....
