CNC Studer Grinder

T&G Engineering are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Studer Grinder to join our team in West Byfleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in grinding various materials.

Full time hours are 39hours per week: Monday-Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 (1/2 lunch break), Friday 07:30-14:30 (no lunch break). Overtime available paid at time and a half.

23days annual leave per annum plus English bank holidays.

Competitive rates of pay depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of CNC Grinding, programming, setting, and operating of Studer Grinding machines.
• Use of measuring equipment to check components.
• Produce programmes on the machine as and when new products arrive.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards ensuring programs and tooling are stored in their correct locations.

Requirements:

• Experience in high end CNC grinding is essential.
• The ability to read complex technical drawings with GD&T’s.
• The ability to work on the following machines: CNC Studer Cell has 3 Studer’s S21, S32 and S40 all with C Axis. A brand new S31/1000 Studer Cylindrical Grinder with C Axis.
• Good organisational skills.
