Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd are a successful busy Sub Contract Engineering Company and-are looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Machinist, offering excellent rates of pay to the right candidate.-

Job Description-CNC Sliding Head Machinist

• Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes
• Working-to tight tolerances
• Producing high precision batch work-components anywhere from 50 off-to 1000s off.
• Setting and Operating-using Fanuc Controls
• Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials
• Operating and setting on New and upto date machinery

Skills Required-CNC Sliding Head Machinist

• Setting and Operating CNC Fixed or Sliding head-Lathes experience
• (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings
• Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.

200- hours holiday per year (23days)-+ Statutory holidays

Every 3 years service 10 hours holiday added.

4 Day Week

Working 40 hours per week Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm-noon

Yearly Appraisals-

Pay is Monthly

Wage dependant on skill level.
