Cnc Setter/Operator

Cnc Setter/Operator An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a CNC tooling assembler / quality technician. Cnc Setter/Operator Duties: Managing building, pre-setting, assembly and disassembly of CNC spindle, fixed and driven tool assemblies. Storage, booking in and out, and documentation of CNC spindle tool holders and cutter tooling to facilitate an efficient inventory control system. Requisition of replacement ad-hoc special cutter tooling. Organisation of internal and external calibration of equipment to industry standards, including recording, documentation and certification. Cnc Setter/Operator Requirements: Proven experience of CNC tooling assembly, quality and management. Good IT skills. Cnc Setter/Operator Hours: 7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm Friday.
