Our team, based in Birmingham, is known for its commitment to excellence and industry-leading innovations.DescriptionSet up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.Report any issues or malfunctions to the Engineering and Manufacturing department.Keep records of operations, maintenance and relevant data in logbooks.ProfileA successful CNC Setter/Operator should have: Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and tooling.Experience and knowledge of working in a similar role within a precision engineering/manufacturing environment is desirable.Experience and knowledge of setting and operating CNC MachineryExperience in 5 axis ..... full job details .....
