CNC Setter/Operator

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator (Aluminium Systems) on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a Permanent basis.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery to cut, drill and machine aluminium profiles.Upload and run CNC programmes using LogiKal or similar software.Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists and production schedules.Set up CNC machines, tooling and materials for production runs.Ensure all work is completed accurately and to specification.Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor faults.Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop environment.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices.Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines.Additional ResponsibilitiesPrevious experience machining aluminium profiles preferred.Experience with aluminium glazing systems such as Kawneer, Novastruct, Schueco or Metal Technology is advantageous.Familiarity with LogiKal or similar CNC programming software is beneficial.Assist in other areas of the workshop when required.Experience, Skills and QualificationsPrevious experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings.Competence in setting up CNC machines and tooling.Good understanding of machining processes and quality standards.Strong attention to detail and ..... full job details .....
