CNC Setter (PM shift)

CNC Setter Operator£14 £15 per hour (DOE) Afternoon Shift (Mon Fri)We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator operate, and maintain CNC machines, producing precision components to quality and production targets.Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machinesRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsSelect tooling, set offsets, speeds, and feedsCarry out first-off and in-process quality checksMaintain machine performance and report faultsFollow SOPs, control plans, and safety proceduresSupport basic maintenance and continuous improvement Skills and Experience: Proven CNC setting/operating experienceStrong understanding of machining processes and tolerancesConfident using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers)Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Desirable: Engineering qualification or apprenticeshipCNC certifications Working Hours: Mon Thurs: 2:00pm - 10:00pmFri: 12pm - 5pm About You: Reliable and safety-focusedAble to work to deadlines and quality standardsProactive with a continuous improvement mindset To apply, please submit a ..... full job details .....
