CNC Setter

Role: CNC Setter (Milling & Turning)
Location: Halesowen/ Cradley Heath
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm
Hourly Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with milling and turning experience to join our client, a well-established engineering business in Halesowen. Renowned for delivering high-quality machined components to a diverse range of industries, our client prides itself on its commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and investment in both its people and technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC milling and turning machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Selecting and changing tooling as required
• Monitoring production to ensure quality standards are met
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and verniers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
