CNC Setter / Operators (Turning or Milling) - (Days =4 day week or Nights = 3 day week)New opportunities for CNC Setter/Operators to set, run and support CNC Lathes or Mills on day shift or night shift.These are hands-on shopfloor roles focused on strong setting and operating skills - (note that stated salary range includes shift premiums), CNC programming experience is an advantage and could command higher salary rates than stated. The role (responsibilities)Set and operate CNC Lathes or Mills to achieve safe, consistent outputLoad programs and set tooling/offsets to meet component requirementsProduce first-off components for inspection and approvalRecord and self-check quality outputs to drawing specificationsMonitor machine performance to maintain optimum outputsRead and interpret engineering drawings (including complex drawings)Carry out routine maintenance within your capability and areaSupport continuous improvement in processes and methods What we''re looking for (essential)Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (turning and/or milling)Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred but cross training is possible.Strong drawing interpretation and attention to detailComfortable working as part of a team and independentlyGood problem-solving skills Desirable (bonus)CNC programming experienceAerospace experience What''s on offerDay shift: 37.5 hours over a 4-day week (Mon-Thu) - Fridays freeNight shift: 37.5 hours over a 3-day weekFlexible start and finish timesCompany ..... full job details .....
