CNC Setter Operator

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join one pf our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Location: Havant, HampshireHours: 37.5 per week (alternating weekly shifts: Early 6am-2pm / Late 2pm-10pm)Contract: Temp to PermKey Responsibilities:Promote a safety-first culture by identifying and resolving hazards.Follow instructions and escalate issues promptly.Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings to support SQCDP improvements.Record output and update MRP systems.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.Share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to training.Uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.Ideal Candidate:Experienced in CNC machine setting (milling and turning).Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring tools.Skilled in modern cutting tools, techniques, and on/offline programming.Familiar with Siemens, Fanuc, Mazatrol controls.Understands 5S principles and is computer literate (Excel).Strong communicator, team player, and committed to excellence.Benefits:Competitive salary4% company pension contributionDeath in service benefit (2x annual salary)Employee Assistance ProgramLong service and monthly recognition awardsFree parking and hot drinksPlease note ..... full job details .....
