CNC Setter Operator Location: Rotherham (S60) Salary: £14.30 to £22.00 per hour (circa £28,000 to £43,500) plus overtime Contract: Full-time, permanent Shifts: 3 shift rotation, Monday to Friday. 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am Up to £22 per hour, steady work, and a well set up shop floor. What the role looks like day to day: You ll be working on vertical CNC milling machines, setting, operating and making adjustments to keep everything running as it should. This is not a button pushing role. You ll be expected to understand what you re doing, read drawings properly, and take ownership of the work you produce. What you will be doing: Setting and operating CNC milling machines. Programming or editing programmes where required. Loading materials and setting tools correctly. Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments. Inspecting parts to ensure they meet required tolerances. Using measuring equipment to check accuracy. Troubleshooting issues during production.
