CNC Setter/Operator - Night shift Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 4am Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum Location: Thetford TEC Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a growing precision engineering company based in Thetford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist looking to join a stable and well-established manufacturing environment with long-term career prospects. The Role The position will involve setting and operating CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision engineered components to customer specifications and engineering drawings. Key responsibilities include: Setting and operating CNC Turning Centres Tooling selection and machine set-up Adjusting offsets and machine parameters Producing components to tight tolerances Performing quality inspection checks Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Supporting continuous production output Maintaining health and safety standards within the workshop Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator CNC Turning / Lathe experience Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Mitsubishi controls Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment Desirable Experience DMG MORI or Citizen machinery Multi-axis turning Live tooling Minor program editing Continuous improvement / ..... full job details .....
