CNC Setter / Operator Whitchurch Full Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:45 and early Friday finishHands-on machining. Precision parts. Room to develop.If you''re an experienced CNC Setter/Operator who takes pride in getting machines set correctly, producing quality components and keeping production moving, this could be a great opportunity.We''re looking for someone with Drill CNC experience to join an established manufacturing environment in Whitchurch, working across CNC milling, saw and manual machining.This is a genuinely hands-on position, with plenty of variety and the opportunity to build on your existing CNC skills and develop your programming knowledge over time.What will you be doing?You''ll be involved throughout the machining process, including:Setting and operating Robo Drill CNC milling machinesSetting and operating saw and manual machineryReading engineering drawings and working accurately to dimensions and tolerancesMeasuring and inspecting finished componentsSelecting and setting tooling correctly for each jobCarrying out efficient machine changeoversLoading and checking CNC programmes, with the opportunity to learn more about CNC programmingUsing Renishaw probing where required experience is useful but not essentialSupporting prototype and new component workTroubleshooting machine and machining issuesIdentifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and repeatabilityKeeping machinery, tooling and your working area clean, safe and ..... full job details .....
