Previous hands-on experience setting and operating HAAS CNC machines is preferred. Programming experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery, ensuring components are produced accurately and efficiently to the required drawings and specifications.We would still be interested in seeing CVs from experienced CNC Setters who have worked across a variety of CNC machines and controls.Main Duties: Set and operate HAAS CNC machines for production.Set up tooling, fixtures and machine parameters ready for production runs.Carry out machine adjustments and offsets where required.Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical drawings and specifications.Check components during set-up and production to ensure they meet the required dimensions and tolerances.Use precision measuring equipment including vernier/digital calipers and micrometers.Carry out first-off and ongoing dimensional checks.Identify and troubleshoot machining or tooling...
