Role and Responsibilities of the "Cnc Setter Operator Programmer (Grinder)": CNC Setter/Operator (Grinder) to produce machine parts by setting and operating a CNC machine Maintaining quality and safety standards. Plans machining by studying works orders. Sets up and run s grinders by installing and adjusting fixed and rolling centres, tools, attachments, steadies and grinding wheels. Verifies setting by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces, adhering to our client s standards. Maintains specifications by observing grinding operation, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, trouble shooting processes, adjusting programs where necessary, replacing worn tools, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on a daily basis, following manufacturer s instructions, trouble shooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs through the intranet systems Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
