CNC Setter Operator

Role: CNC Setter Operator Location: Basildon, EssexSalary/Rate: 36,000 - 36,200Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm - Friday 7.30am to 12.30pmProactive are currently in search of experienced CNC Setter Operators to begin work immediately for a leading manufacturing and engineering company based in Basildon.This is an exciting role and permanent position with ample opportunity for progression and development.Purpose of role and key accountabilities:To produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines.Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiencyCompetently set and operate CNC machinesWork to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standardTo work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing processQuality check all finished jobsClean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area.Working to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standardsCommitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety environmental, energy and sustainability managementAs part of your role you will be asked to support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement.Core skills/attributes needed:Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operatorExperience of milling machines - 3 and 5 AxisAble to interpret engineering drawingsExperience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentAble to use a wide variety of measuring ..... full job details .....
