The RoleAs the CNC Setter Operator, you will set and operate Okuma CNC machining centres to manufacture precision aerospace components to the highest quality standards. Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetting and operating Okuma CNC machining centres.Producing complex, precision-machined components for the aerospace sector.Changing tooling and making offset adjustments.Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.Inspecting components using micrometers, verniers, gauges and other measuring equipment.Ensuring components are manufactured within tight tolerances.Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.Maintaining excellent housekeeping and following all health and safety procedures.Working closely with programmers and the production team to maximise machine efficiency. ..... full job details .....
