CNC Setter Operator (Agathon and Rollomatic Machines)Location: Leicester, LE4 8ASSalary: £38,000 per annum, increasing to £40,000 after successful completion of probation (DOE)Hours: Monday to FridayMonday - Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm (30-minute break)Friday: 6:00am - 11:00amAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly precise and detail-oriented CNC Setter Operator with at least 2 years'' experience in high-precision grinding. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating Agathon and Rollomatic CNC grinding machines, producing high-quality precision tools to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.On-Site CNC MachinesAgathon 400 PentaAgathon Combi PlusRollomatic 630XW (GrindSmart)Core CompetenciesExpert in setting up and operating CNC grinding machines.Proficient in interpreting and editing Fanuc/G-code-based controls to optimise grinding programmes.Skilled in using manual and electronic measuring equipment to ensure first-off and in-process accuracy.Strong commitment to ISO quality standards, 5S principles, and health and safety procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate 4 and 5-axis CNC grinding machines.Manufacture high-precision components in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components within tight tolerances.Diagnose and resolve machine, tooling, and material issues to minimise downtime and optimise cycle times.Carry out routine maintenance and preventative care on ..... full job details .....
