Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter Operator • Set and operate CNC machines to produce components efficiently and to the required quality standards. • Obtain Quality Control authorisation on the first off components. • Check all components are machined from the correct material. • Ensure all components are processed in accordance with the production layout, raising any discrepancies or required amendments with supervision. • Ensure all components are machined to drawing dimensions and tolerances. • Ensure all processes are performed efficiently and within set cycle times. • Comply with the company’s Quality Control procedures at all times. • Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policy at all times. • Recommend improvements to methods or processes to enhance quality or efficiency. • Maintain work area and machinery in a clean...
