Shift Patterns Available:

• Days: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 7:00pm
• Nights: Monday to Thursday, 7:00pm - 7:00am

We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a growing manufacturer of bespoke polythene film products used across a variety of industries. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for setting, operating and maintaining CNC machinery used in the manufacture and conversion of polythene film products, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards. The business specialises in the extrusion and conversion of polythene materials, producing bespoke products to customer specifications.

• Set and operate CNC machinery in line with production schedules.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Select and install tooling, adjust machine settings and make offsets where required.
• Manufacture components and products used within the production of polythene film and packaging solutions.
• Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks throughout production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic fault-finding on CNC equipment.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities across the manufacturing facility.

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible attitude towards working a fixed day or night shift.

• Experience within a plastics, polythene film, packaging or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of extrusion, conversion or related manufacturing processes.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
